The Indian government has suspended 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, including prominent news outlets like Dawn News, Samaa TV, ARY News, and Geo News, for spreading inflammatory and misleading content.
The Union Home Ministry's decision comes in response to these channels' biased reporting on India, its army, and security agencies, particularly in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
This move is part of India's diplomatic efforts to counter Pakistan's hostile actions, following the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty and directives for Pakistani nationals to leave India.
