As the clock strikes midnight, ushering in the New Year, devotees are thronging the Shrimandir in Puri to seek the blessings of Mahaprabhu. To ensure a smooth and orderly darshan, the Puri police and temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements.
According to reports, a massive crowd of devotees has been gathering at the temple since morning, eager to catch a glimpse of Mahaprabhu. To manage the crowd, a large-scale barricade system has been set up, with devotees being allowed to enter only through the Singhdwar gate and exit through the other three gates.
The police have also deployed rescue teams at various locations to deal with any emergency situation that may arise. Devotees will be allowed to have darshan of Mahaprabhu from the night of December 31 to the night of January 1.
"We have made all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and peaceful darshan for the devotees," said a senior police official. "We appeal to the devotees to cooperate with us and follow the instructions of the temple authorities and police personnel."
