The Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) campus recently played host to the inaugural ceremony of the two-day 'Developed India Youth Parliament 2025' program. Organized by the SOA NSS Bureau, this initiative aims to empower young minds and provide a platform for them to share their ideas and vision for a developed India.
Prof. Pradeep Kumar Nanda, Vice Chancellor of SOA, graced the occasion as the chief guest and expressed gratitude to Nehru Youth Centre Bhubaneswar and NSS Bhubaneswar for selecting SOA as the nodal center for the program in Khurda district.
The event saw participation from around 120 students from various colleges and universities in Khordha district. The program's main theme, 'One Nation, One Election,' sparked interesting discussions and debates among the participants.
Key speakers, including Ms. Sarita Patel, Regional Director, NSS Bhubaneswar, and Shri Shivaji Muralidhar Kharat, Regional Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Organization, emphasized the importance of youth participation in shaping India's future ¹.
The event featured various competitions, with five judges evaluating the participants' performances. This initiative is part of the Government of India's efforts to encourage youth involvement in nation-building and development.
