Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today chaired a high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to review preparations for the upcoming India-South Africa T20 International match at Barabati Stadium on December 9th.
Emphasizing that the match will be watched globally, the Chief Minister directed OCA and state administration officials to ensure "flawless" and "well-regulated" arrangements to protect Odisha's prestige.
Following a previous disruption due to lights going out during a match, Majhi stressed the need for uninterrupted power supply, traffic management, fire safety, and meticulous crowd control. OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera provided detailed updates on all arrangements, including ticket sales and continuous lighting systems, ensuring a zero-error event.
