In good news for visitors and traders, the Historic Cuttack Bali Yatra has been extended by one more day.
Originally scheduled to conclude today, November 12, the massive annual trade fair will now continue till tomorrow, Thursday, November 13.
The decision was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who confirmed the extension via the Chief Minister's Office and his 'X' handle. The move was made to accommodate the overwhelming public attraction and the business interests of the traders.
The festival, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on Kartik Purnima (November 5th), is a celebration of Odisha's ancient maritime trade links. The extension ensures more time for people to enjoy the popular event.
