The Indian Air Force is set to get a new Vice Chief, Air Marshal Narmadeshwar Tiwari, who will take charge on April 30 after Air Marshal SP Dharkar's retirement. Tiwari is currently serving as the South Western Air Force Commander in Gandhinagar.

- Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit will take charge as the new Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), focusing on interservice coordination.

- Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma will assume command of the Northern Command of the Indian Army, having held important positions like DGMO and Military Secretary Branch.


These changes come amidst heightened tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack.
