Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has said the State government will take all possible steps to make Cuttack a smart city.
CM Majhi said this after visiting various puja pandals in the millennium city.
“There have been long-standing demands for making Cuttack a Smart City. I am aware of the pain and agony in every Cuttackia's heart when the city was left out from the list of 96 smart cities announced by the Centre in the country in 2015. Our Government is aware of it. I will review it during my next visit to Cuttack," the Chief Minister said.
“Our government will take all possible steps to ensure that Cuttack gets the smart city status soon,” he added.
