The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the cancellation of 32 trains and the diversion or short-termination of others, primarily affecting services through Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha, in view of the severe weather expected from the ongoing cyclone in the Bay of Bengal. The affected trains were scheduled for October 27th and 28th.

Securing of all hoardings, loose sheets, and construction materials near railway premises.
Cutting of trees near the railway tracks to prevent obstruction.
24-hour track patrolling by designated personnel at sensitive locations during heavy rains.
