In a major leap toward "copy-free" examinations, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is deploying advanced technology for the Odisha +2 Board Exams starting tomorrow. For the first time, question papers and answer sheets are being transported in vehicles equipped with GPS tracking to ensure real-time security.
Key highlights of the 2026 examination:
Massive Turnout: A total of 4,01,623 candidates (3,76,535 regular and 25,088 ex-regular) will appear across 1,364 centers.
Five-Tier Security: 102 specialized squad teams have been established across five administrative levels to conduct surprise inspections and curb malpractice.
Centralized Monitoring: All 211 examination hubs are under 24/7 live streaming surveillance, directly monitored by the CHSE control room.
Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das confirmed that AI-integrated cameras have also been installed at sensitive hubs. These measures aim to uphold the integrity of the assessment process as students from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams begin their career-defining tests.
