A chilling act of cruelty has surfaced at Torani Pokhari Ashram Vidyalaya in Keonjhar district, where a first-class student was inhumanly tortured by fourth-grade seniors. The victim, the young son of Biju Munda, was allegedly assaulted following a minor dispute on Thursday evening.
Initial reports indicated the child suffered severe eye injuries during the scuffle, prompting a teacher to hospitalize him. However, the true horror was discovered only after the boy returned home.
While changing his clothes, his mother found his private parts had been tied with lace and set on fire.
The traumatized child was rushed to the Patna Health Center and later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for specialized care.
Ghatgaon Police have launched a formal investigation into the school’s environment and the shocking lack of supervision that allowed such a depraved act to occur.
This incident has sparked outrage across the state, raising urgent questions regarding the safety of minors in residential government schools.
