The Odisha government is set to host Krishi Odisha 2026, a massive three-day agricultural convention at the Baramunda Biju Patnaik Sports Complex from January 22 to 24. Organized by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, this year’s theme is "Tolerant Agriculture through Inclusion."
Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo reviewed preparations with Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Arvind Kumar Padhi at Lok Seva Bhavan. The event aims to empower farmers by showcasing modern machinery, advanced research, and sustainable skills.
The "Mega-Kumbh" will unite thousands of farmers, scientists, and policymakers. Highlights include agricultural education camps and live demonstrations designed to modernize Odisha’s farming landscape. With a focus on resilience and inclusion, the state aims to bridge the gap between traditional practices and cutting-edge technology.
