Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer Sarthak Saurabh Mohapatra, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA), has denied allegations of non-support made by his wife, Archana Das. Das, an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, filed a complaint against Mohapatra, accusing him of abandoning her and their newborn child.
Mohapatra refuted all allegations, stating that his wife never supported him and was unhappy about the time he spent with his mother.
He emphasized his responsibility towards his mother and sister, saying, "The mother has no one else but me; mother, sister needs support."
Mohapatra claimed that he stayed in the hospital for three days after the child's birth and provided necessary care.
Mohapatra expressed his determination to fight the allegations, saying, "I am not Atul Subhas, I will fight till the end. I have faith in the court and Jagannath."
He is confident that he will receive justice and is prepared to face the legal proceedings.
