Great news for aspiring educators! The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has extended the online application deadline for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 by an entire month. Candidates now have until May 9, 2026, to complete their registrations.
The decision follows reports that many applicants were unable to finish the process by the original April 9 cutoff. So far, over 70,000 candidates, including many in-service teachers, have applied. With this extension, officials expect the total number to surpass the 1 lakh mark.
