The sacred Chaiti Parva of Maa Tarini commenced today, enveloping the shrine in a wave of spiritual fervor. Marking a tradition upheld by the Temple Trust Board since 1937, the festival began with the ritualistic Mahasnana (great bath) and the elaborate Shodashupchar Puja.

The highlight for the thousands of gathered devotees is the deity's magnificent Suna Besha (golden attire). Maa Tarini will bless her followers in this golden form for the next seven days.

To manage the massive influx of pilgrims, the temple administration and local police have implemented a strict barricade system and enhanced security to ensure a smooth darshan.

This week-long celebration represents a unique blend of ancient customs and deep-rooted devotion.

As the air fills with chants and traditional rituals, Chaiti Parva continues to be a cornerstone of the state's cultural heritage, offering peace and joy to the vast sea of devotees flocking to witness the Mother in her regal splendor.
