Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Puri today at 3 pm, accompanied by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, to review preparations for the upcoming Bahuda Yatra and Suna Besha ceremonies.
This visit marks the Chief Minister's first trip to Puri since the recent stampede incident near the Shree Gundicha temple, which claimed three lives and injured around 50 devotees.
According to sources, the Chief Minister and Law Minister will discuss various issues with senior civil servants, focusing on the smooth conduct of the Bahuda Yatra and Suna Besha.
The government will emphasize safety measures to prevent similar incidents and ensure a spiritually enriching experience for devotees.
The administration has been working tirelessly to ensure meticulous preparations for the event, including security arrangements and infrastructure enhancements.
