A devastating head-on collision between a car and a gas tanker occurred near Bhutmundai on the Cuttack-Paradip road, resulting in the death of the car's driver, Pragya Prakash Pati, from Jagat village, Bhutmundai.
According to sources, the accident took place near Bhutmundai Bank Chack in Paradip.
The tanker was heading towards Paradip while the car was coming from Cuttack when the accident occurred.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene, seized both vehicles, and sent the body to Kujang Medical College for autopsy
The gas tanker driver fled the scene after the accident.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
