The Odisha government has initiated efforts to bring back students studying in Kashmir University amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. This decision comes after the Central Sanskrit University was ordered to be vacated due to the sensitive situation.

A group of Odisha students, who were studying in Jammu, have reached Delhi airport safely after a harrowing experience. They recounted the incident of last night, where drones were spotted in the sky, and there was heavy firing. The students witnessed the Indian army repelling the Pakistani attack.


One student described the situation as "terrible," saying, "Suddenly, many drones appeared in the sky. We were scared seeing this. There was also a lot of firing last night. We were wondering how to return home." The student added, "We have seen with our own eyes how India repelled the Pakistani attack. We were scared. The mobile network was also not working properly."


The Odisha government has arranged special teams to ensure the safe return of its students. Five teams have been given the responsibility of officers to oversee the situation. The government has requested family members to contact the control room for any assistance.


The students who reached Delhi airport safely expressed relief and gratitude, saying, "Today we are returning safely. I feel happy." The Odisha government's prompt action has ensured the safety of its students, and they are now on their way back home.
