President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two-day visit to Odisha, starting July 14, where she will attend several prestigious events in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The President will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on a special Air Force flight from New Delhi.

- July 14: Attend the 5th Convocation Ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar as the Chief Guest
- July 15: Attend the 13th Annual Convocation Ceremony of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack
- Foundation Stone Laying: Lay the foundation stone for the upgradation work of Ravenshaw Girls' High School in Cuttack
- Cultural Engagement: Visit Sarala Bhawan to pay floral tributes to the statue of Adikavi Sarala Das and attend the 600th birth anniversary celebrations
- Award Ceremony: Present the prestigious Kalinga Ratna Award-2024 to recognize outstanding contributions to literature, culture, and public service
Security Arrangements:
- 50 platoons of police force will be deployed for security arrangements
- Tightened security measures at various traffic posts, including Raj Bhavan
- A karcade rehearsal will be conducted to ensure smooth execution of the President's visit
Convocation Ceremony Details:
- Ravenshaw University will award gold medals to 84 UG students, best graduates to 6 students, and gold medals to 76 postgraduate students
- President's Award will be given to 144 PhD students, one DLT, and one DSC
The President is scheduled to return to New Delhi on the evening of July 15.
