Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University celebrated International Women's Day a day in advance, on March 8, with SOA Vice-President Ms. Saswati Das highlighting the significant progress made by women in various fields.

SOA's Commitment to Women's Empowerment:
- 54% of SOA's students are girls
- 42% of faculty members and employees are women
- 46 women hold key positions in the university
The program was conducted by Prof. Renu Sharma, Additional Dean (Student Affairs) of the Institute of Technical Education and Research.
