SUM Nursing College, a research and education institution under Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA), recently celebrated World Health Day 2025 with great fervor. The event was organized by the Department of Community Health Nursing, with this year's theme being 'Healthy Beginnings, Promising Futures'.


Key Events and Activities

- Poster Competition: Students participated in a poster competition on the theme of World Health Day.

- Awareness Rally: An awareness rally was organized on maternal and child care, highlighting the importance of healthcare services.

- Health Camp: PG and Post Basic students of the department organized a health camp in the Bharatpur area, providing essential health services to the community.


Expert Insights and Participation

- Keynote Speaker: Dr. Deviprasad Goswami, Medical Officer, NCH WHO Odisha, delivered a keynote speech on health services and child and maternal care.

- Guest Participation: Prof. Tapati Shah, Associate Professor Pushpanjali Mohapatra, and Tutor Smt. Artha Kanti contributed to the program.
