The world famous Bali Jatra in Cuttack, this year will begin from November 15, informed the district collector on Wednesday.
While speaking about the Bali Jatra, the collector informed that though it has not been decided how long the annual fair will continue, priority will be given for better traffic management and toilet facilities.
A final decision regarding the exact number, that for how many days the Bali Jatra will run will be decided during the next meeting, said the collector.
Notably, the Cuttack district administration holds the Bali Jatra on the Mahanadi river bank in Cuttack every year to mark the day when ancient Sadhabas would set sail to distant lands of Bali, for trade and cultural expansion.
