The Bhadrakali temple in Bhadrak, Odisha, is witnessing a huge influx of devotees as the Saptamatuika Besha begins, with the third day featuring the Rajarajeswari Besha. Hundreds of devotees have been queuing up since morning to catch a glimpse of Maa Bhadrakali in this revered form.


Key Highlights

 Devotees believe that seeing Maa in this Besha brings happiness and peace. On this day, Maa is worshipped in the form of Chaturdhamurti, with a lotus face and four hands holding a conch, chakra, mace, and lotus.

 Tulsi leaves along with beel leaves are offered to the deity.

 Earlier, Maa was worshipped in the forms of Vedamata Besha and Mahakali Besha.

The temple is witnessing various religious activities, including Gita recitation, Shatchandi recitation, and homa yagna. A large crowd has gathered to witness the Besha and seek the blessings of the goddess.
