India has reported an increase in Covid-19 cases, with 257 cases reported as of yesterday. The central government is closely monitoring the situation and has held a high-level meeting to discuss the Covid-19 situation.

- Maharashtra: 44 cases reported
- Tamil Nadu: 34 cases reported
Two patients have died in Maharashtra, both of whom were Covid-19 positive and had underlying health conditions.
The Union Health Ministry has held a meeting with teams from the National Center for Disease Control, Emergency Medical Relief Division, Disaster Management Cell, and Indian Council of Research.

Covid-19 cases have also been reported in Hong Kong and Singapore, with approximately 14,000 cases identified.
