The health condition of the Fakir Mohan College student who attempted to kill self by setting herself on fire due to alleged harassment by a professor remains stable but critical. According to Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, the student's condition is precarious, with 90-95% burn injuries affecting her kidneys, respiratory tract, and lungs.
Medical Update:
- The student is undergoing dialysis and is on ventilator support in the ICU.
- An 8-member medical team is providing round-the-clock care, with specialists from critical care, surgery, nephrology, pulmonology, and anaesthesiology.
