In a massive blow to drug trafficking, Odisha’s Gajapati police unearthed a major ganja cache buried near Bhimanpur village. Acting on a precise tip-off, a joint team led by R. Udayagiri SDPO Rakesh Kumar Sahu raided the Nuagarh block, discovering 67 plastic bags hidden deep underground.
The seized contraband, weighing a significant amount, is valued at over Rs 2 crore in the grey market. This successful operation follows a string of high-impact raids in the district, where police have seized approximately 11 tonnes of ganja in recent months.
