The sweltering heat has returned to Odisha, with the Regional Meteorological Center predicting a continuation of the heat wave until next week. After a brief respite from the heat due to Kalbaisakhi rains, the state is once again facing unbearable temperatures.

- Districts Affected: Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, and Boudh districts are expected to experience heat wave conditions, while Gajapati district may face hot and humid conditions.

- Yellow Warning: A yellow warning has been issued by the Regional Meteorological Center, indicating that the heat wave is likely to continue in most parts of Odisha between May 11th and 14th.

- Temperature Forecast: The mercury is estimated to touch 45 degrees Celsius in the coming days, making the heat unbearable for the residents.

Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses. Staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and taking regular breaks in cool environments can help mitigate the effects of the heat wave.

The heat wave alert serves as a reminder for residents to be vigilant and take care of their health during this period.
