In a significant move to enhance governance and monitor employee performance, the Odisha government has decided to install AI cameras in all state offices. The decision was taken during a crucial secretary-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhavan, chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.

- AI Cameras Installation: AI cameras will first be installed in Kharavel Bhavan and Lok Seva Bhavan, followed by rollout in all government offices at the district level.
- Focus on 10 Aspects: Chief Secretary gave instructions to focus on 10 key aspects to improve governance.

- Punctuality: Emphasis on officers coming to office on time.
- Performance Monitoring: Officers with poor performance will be given an opportunity to improve; otherwise, Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) might be considered.
- Service Delays: Delays in providing services to people will be monitored.
- Departmental Reviews:
- District Collector Reviews: Central Scheme reviews on the 7th of every month.
- Departmental Reviews: Forest and Environment Department and Revenue Department reviews on the 12th.
- Other Initiatives:
- CM DAS Board: To start from October.
- Expenditure Focus: All departments to focus on increasing expenditure.
- Field Visits: Officers instructed to focus on field visits.
