Marking a historic milestone, the inaugural Black Swan Summit India 2026 concluded in Bhubaneswar, positioning Odisha as a global powerhouse for AI, FinTech, and InsurTech. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, joined by President Droupadi Murmu, declared the state ready to lead the digital revolution.
The centerpiece of this ambition is the BharatNetra programme, a partnership with Singapore’s GFTN and NUS. The initiative aims to:
Train 7,000 youth in FinTech and InsurTech over five years.
Build a Sovereign AI Park (via a ₹20,000 crore MoU with Sarvam AI).
Deploy voice-enabled AI for rural healthcare and agriculture.
Chief Minister Majhi announced a dedicated FinTech Policy will soon follow the IT Policy 2025 to accelerate the innovation ecosystem. With 1,700 delegates from 24 countries attending, Odisha is successfully transitioning from policy to execution, cementing its role as India’s gateway to the global digital economy.
