Bhubaneswar Police have arrested five men Monday for rash driving.
Police have arrested the five accused with the help of a special squad. It was a joint operation by Laxmisagar and Kharavela Nagar Police.
Laxmisagar Police have arrested one man, seizing a car in this process. The Kharavela Nagar Police, on the other hand, have arrested four accused and seized another car.
The arrests were made after the police officials came across a viral video where the accused were seen rashly driving on the Janpath near Rupali Square.
A video of the incident recorded on a mobile phone has now gone viral on social media, spreading anger among the netizens.
The video shows the accused were driving rashly from Ram Mandir to Rupali Square.
According to reports, more people are involved in this act and Police are searching for the other accused.
