Education ‘O’ Research (SOA) Deemed to be University and its engineering arm, ITER, have been honored with the Times Business Award 2026. Conferred by The Times of India, the awards recognize the institutions as leaders in research excellence and industry-ready education in Eastern India.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Pradeep Kumar Nanda received the accolades from Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. ITER, established in 1996, was specifically lauded as the No. 1 engineering institute in the region, noted for its cutting-edge focus on AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.
SOA’s ascent in global rankings—including a 14th NIRF 2024 rank and NAAC A++ accreditation—further solidified its standing. With over 100 international research collaborations, the university continues to bridge the gap between academic rigor and industrial demand. This recognition underscores SOA's commitment to producing world-class innovators and significantly boosts its reputation as a premier hub for higher education in India.
