Following the heartbreaking death of Rupali Beshra, a student at the Kakabandh Ashram School in Mayurbhanj, the Odisha government has shifted into "action mode."

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed profound grief and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.


To ensure accountability, the CM has ordered a high-level RDC-level inquiry. The Uttaranchal Revenue Divisional Commissioner has been directed to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the mass illness and the tragic loss of life.

The RDC is scheduled to visit the site tomorrow to begin the probe.

Financial Aid: An assistance of Rs 3 lakh from the CM’s Relief Fund (CMRF) has been sanctioned for Rupali’s next of kin.


Accountability: The investigation aims to uncover the root cause of the food poisoning and lapses in school administration.
