A devastating road accident occurred in the Kaliapani police station area of Jajpur district, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident took place late at night when a group of youths were returning to their village from Rasolak in an Itiga car.

The accident occurred near Mahulkhal in the Kaliapani police station area.
The car lost control and hit a tree before overturning on the roadside.
Bishwanath Mahanath and Sanjay Kumar Mahanath, both residents of Kadu Bin and Mahulkhal villages respectively, died on the spot. One person was seriously injured and admitted to Kalinganagar Tata Medical College.
Kaliapani police have seized the car and initiated an investigation into the incident. The police have recovered the dead bodies and are working to determine the exact cause of the accident.
