As the echoes of "Har Har Mahadev" vibrate across the coast, world-renowned sand artist Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik has unveiled a breathtaking tribute for Mahashivaratri on Puri’s Golden Beach.

In a stunning display of devotion and craft, Pattnaik sculpted a 7-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva seated atop a sand mountain. The masterpiece is intricately adorned with 17,000 Rudrakshas and surrounded by 500 miniature Shivalingas, creating a divine spectacle that has drawn massive crowds of tourists and pilgrims.

Beyond the artistry, the installation carries a global message of peace and spiritual well-being. Extending his greetings for the holy Jagar Yatra, Pattnaik stated he prayed for Lord Shiva to maintain harmony across the world. The installation, featuring the bold message "HAPPY MAHASIVARATRI," stands as a centerpiece for the festivities, blending Odisha’s rich sand-art heritage with deep-rooted Shaivite traditions.
