National Vice-President and newly re-appointed Odisha party in-charge Smt. D. Purandeswari, alongside Co-in-charge Dr. Swadesh Singh, received a grand welcome upon arriving in Bhubaneswar.
The leaders immediately spearheaded a high-level organizational meeting alongside Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and State President Shri Manmohan Samal. Discussions centered on strengthening coordination between the government and the organization, and expanding outreach ahead of the upcoming Panchayat and municipal elections.
During their visit, the leaders actively engaged with community programs under the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’—running through October 17—with Purandeswari visiting Ward No. 35 and Singh attending an ‘Angan Ki Utsav’ event in Ward No. 40 to praise Anganwadi workers.
Additionally, the party finalized preparations for the "Seva Jyoti" program, scheduled across Odisha's 30 districts on October 7. This event will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public office, featuring virtual public addresses and mass participation initiatives across the state.
