A shocking fire incident outside the Cuttack High Court today has been revealed as a deliberate act of vengeance.

Minati Sahu, a resident of Jagatsinghpur, was arrested after confessing to orchestrating the arson to protest alleged police negligence regarding her personal legal grievances.

Sahu’s plan involved purchasing petrol from a nearby station and soaking a cloth to create an incendiary device. Her primary target was the courthouse itself; however, the flaming cloth struck the boundary wall and landed on parked vehicles.

The resulting blaze gutted four vehicles, including a Bolero, an electric scooter, and a motorcycle.

In a calculated move, the accused handed her phone to a bystander to record the act before she was detained.

While the fire brigade successfully contained the flames and prevented further spread to the court building, the incident has left the local community shaken.

Police have recovered the woman's handwritten notes as evidence, confirming the attack was a premeditated "conspiracy" against the justice system.
