The post offices under the Khordha district will remain closed on August 2 to facilitate a software upgrade to APT-2.0, a new digital platform designed to enhance postal services. According to Tarini Charan Padhi, Senior Postal Superintendent of Bhubaneswar Postal Division, the APT-2.0 software will be functional in all post offices under the Khordha district from August 4.

According to sources, the APT-2.0 software is expected to make postal services faster and more efficient, resolving network-related problems immediately.

All preliminary preparations for the software upgrade have been completed, and the new system will be implemented across all post offices under the Khordha district.

The upgrade aims to provide faster and more reliable postal services, benefiting customers and enhancing the overall efficiency of the postal department.

The upgrade aims to enhance the customer experience by providing more reliable and efficient postal services.

The implementation of APT-2.0 software is part of a larger initiative to digitize India's postal services, with over 165,000 post offices expected to go digital by August 4.
