Odisha Matric Exams: 5.6 Lakh Students to Appear Under High-Tech Vigil

The Class 10 Board Examinations are set to commence on the 19th across 3,082 centers statewide. Secondary Education Council Chairman, Shrikant Tarai, confirmed that 5,61,979 students have registered for the single-sitting exams, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.


To ensure transparency, the Board has introduced QR codes and watermarks on all question papers and answer sheets, allowing instant tracking of any leaks. Additionally, live CCTV monitoring from the Board office will oversee the process.


Key Logistics:


Nodal Centers: 322 centers established for secure paper storage.


Security: 17 nodal centers are located in police stations within Maoist-affected regions.


Dispatch: Question papers reach the first five districts tomorrow; all centers will be stocked by the 17th.


Chairman Tarai urged students to remain calm and focused, assuring them that all arrangements are finalized for a smooth examination process.
