A shocking incident has raised serious concerns about women's safety after a mother and daughter were allegedly raped at the Bermuda Interstate Bus Terminal on the outskirts of the capital.
The incident reportedly occurred while the victims were asleep in the bus stand's waiting room, waiting for a bus.
The accused, identified as Prithvi Kahaur of Beguniapada, Ganjam, allegedly assaulted the two women. The victims raised an alarm, and the accused was apprehended while attempting to escape.
The Bharatpur police station has successfully arrested Kahaur, and he is currently being interrogated.
