Fresh off their historic 2025 ODI World Cup triumph, the Indian Women’s team is now targeting the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup. On Saturday, the selection committee announced a formidable 15-member squad led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana.
The squad features a potent mix of explosive hitters like Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues, alongside rising stars like Shreyanka Patil and Nandini Sharma. India finds itself in a challenging Group 1, pitted against rivals Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.
