Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi arrived in Sambalpur today for a high-profile two-day visit focused on urban transformation and healthcare. The CM began his itinerary by seeking blessings at the Maa Samaleswari Temple, followed by a major push for green mobility as he flagged off 25 new e-buses at the Mahanadi Riverfront.
The visit is packed with infrastructure milestones. Today, the CM will attend a key government session at Burla PM Shri High School and launch multiple development projects. Sunday’s schedule remains equally ambitious, featuring the foundation stone laying of a 24-hour water supply project at Hirakud Reservoir and the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Trauma Care Building at the District Headquarters Hospital.
The Sambalpur district administration has enforced tight security and elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth execution of these projects, which aim to modernize the city’s essential services.
