A frantic search ended in relief this morning as Borigumma police successfully rescued three minor girls who went missing from the Paraiguda Ashram Vidyalaya. The Class 3 students had vanished on Friday afternoon shortly after being dropped off following their Christmas vacation.
According to authorities, the children reportedly attempted to follow their guardians back home after arrival, subsequently losing their way in the surrounding area. When school officials realized the students were missing, they immediately alerted parents and lodged a formal police complaint.
A localized search operation was launched, leading officers to a small hut approximately 3 kilometers from the school premises. Acting on crucial leads provided by villagers, the police located the girls unharmed on Saturday morning.
The children have since been reunited with school authorities and their families, bringing a tense overnight disappearance to a safe conclusion.
