A stir has gripped devotees after an eagle was spotted perched atop the Patitapabana (fallen leaves) area of the temple this afternoon.

The bird circled the shrine before settling for a significant duration, a sight that has triggered intense speculation among locals and intellectuals alike.

To many devotees, the event is a grave celestial warning. Traditional beliefs suggest that an eagle perching on sacred temple structures foreshadows national calamities, ranging from earthquakes and cyclones to food shortages and civil unrest.

Skeptics and rationalists, however, dismiss the event as a common natural occurrence, noting that eagles have frequently been seen atop the temple’s Neela Chakra (Blue Wheel) in the past without incident.

While temple rituals, including the daily changing of the flag, continued as scheduled, the sighting has left the community divided. Whether a symbolic "bad sign from the Lord" or merely a bird seeking rest, the incident remains the talk of the town.
