A shocking incident of friendship turned sour has been reported from Radho village under Udla police station in Mayurbhanj district. A young man named Yatindra Patra was allegedly attacked by his friend with a sharp weapon, leaving him seriously injured.
Reportedly, Yatindra Patra was sitting near his house when his friend called him out, and took him to a nearby field, where the attack occurred.
Yatindra sustained serious injuries from the sharp weapon and fell in the field, bleeding profusely.
Locals heard Yatindra's screams and rushed to his aid, informing his family, who then admitted him to Udla Medical College for treatment.
Due to the seriousness of his injuries, Yatindra was shifted to Baripada for further treatment.
The police have taken up the case for investigation, and efforts are on to apprehend the accused.
