A total of 17 Members of Parliament (MPs) were conferred with the prestigious Parliament Ratna Award 2025 on Saturday for their exceptional performance in the Lok Sabha. The award, given by a private organization, recognizes the outstanding contributions of MPs to parliamentary democracy.
Ravi Kishan, Nishikant Dubey, Dinesh Sharma, Smita Uday Wagh, Medha Kulkarni, Praveen Patel, Vidyut Para Mahto, and Dilip Saikia.
- Congress MP: Rastra Gayakwad.
- Shiv Sena-UBT MPs: Arvind Sawant and Naresh Mahaske.
- Four MPs received special jury awards for their continuous contribution to parliamentary democracy over three consecutive terms:
- Bhartuhari Mahatab (BJP)
- NK Premachandran (Krantikaari Samajwadi Party)
- Supriya Sule (NCP)
- Srirang Apa Barne (Shiv Sena)
- Two parliamentary committees were honored for the quality of their reports and contribution to legislative oversight:
- Standing Committee on Finance (headed by Bhartuhari Mahatab)
- Standing Committee on Agriculture (headed by Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi).
