In a historic move for South Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation stone for the much-awaited Government Medical College and Hospital at Patalguda today. Spanning 50 acres, the facility will feature 100 MBBS seats and 420 beds, ensuring specialized healthcare within the district.
"Distance from the capital will no longer mean distance from development," the CM stated, highlighting his government's pace in operationalizing three medical colleges in just 20 months. He further announced upcoming medical colleges for Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, and Bhadrak.
