Following his official takeover in Delhi, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal received a hero's welcome at Bhubaneswar airport on Monday.
Addressing supporters, Samal credited the party’s rising strength to the "double-engine" synergy between the Centre and the State, highlighting the impact of 12 years of central governance and the party's recent localized efforts.
Regarding the suspension of the Mandal couple from the BJD, Samal maintained a diplomatic stance, labeling it an "internal matter." While he confirmed no formal talks have occurred regarding them joining the BJP, his stance remained open: "We welcome those who wish to join our party," he noted, leaving their political future to speculation.
Samal emphasized that Odisha’s "immense potential" is finally being realized through tireless grassroots work, asserting that the public is actively reviewing and rewarding the BJP’s performance over rival parties.
