The government has issued a stern directive stating that employees who fail to submit their annual list of assets will be denied promotions.
The Public Administration Department, through a letter from ACS Surendra Kumar to all departments, has mandated that all government employees must submit a detailed inventory of their assets by January 2026.

This new order establishes a concrete consequence—the withholding of promotion—to enforce compliance with the transparency rules.
