In a major push to accelerate overall state development, the Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, has approved 13 critical proposals during its 44th meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan.
Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg emphasized that the administration's primary goal is rapid execution so that benefits reach the grassroots immediately.
Key Highlights of the Cabinet Approvals:
Rural Development Focus: The Rural Development Department secured the highest priority with 7 approved proposals, focusing on upgrading village roads, infrastructure, and public amenities.
Multisectoral Boost: One proposal each was greenlit for Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment, Water Resources, Fisheries & Animal Resource Development, Cooperation, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, and Revenue administration.
The Impact: These strategic decisions aim to fundamentally transform Odisha's rural economy, optimize water management, strengthen the cooperative framework, and streamline vital public delivery systems.
