The annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination 2026 commenced across Odisha today, February 19, with over 5.61 lakh candidates appearing at 3,082 centers. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has implemented a robust multi-tier security system to ensure an error-free process through March 2.
On the opening day, School and Mass Education Secretary Dr. N. Thirumala Nayak inspected centers in Bhubaneswar and the BSE headquarters in Cuttack. He emphasized strict adherence to guidelines, coordinating with invigilators and district officers to maintain a peaceful environment.
