The annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations commenced across Odisha today, February 19, with 5,61,979 students appearing at 3,082 centers. To ensure transparency, all venues are linked to a central Command and Control Room for real-time AI-enabled CCTV monitoring.
On the opening day, School and Mass Education Minister Shri Nityananda Gond visited the Government High School in Unit-1, Bhubaneswar. He reviewed the arrangements and congratulated the examinees, emphasizing a stress-free environment.
Key Highlights:
Timing: Exams run from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM; entry started at 7:30 AM.
Grace Period: Students received an additional 15-minute entry window this year.
Strict Vigil: Teachers and staff are prohibited from using mobile phones; strict action is warned for any negligence or malpractice.
Security: 109 flying squads are deployed statewide to maintain exam integrity.
The examinations are scheduled to conclude on March 2.
